The Uferhallen are an important production and presentation location for art and culture in Berlin and, in addition to studios, also accommodate dance and rehearsal rooms, recording studios, a concert hall and an exhibition hall, workshops, restaurants and a wide range of event rooms. More than 150 artists live and work on the site and with several hundred visitors every day, the Uferhallen are a central place for cultural exchange and an integral part of the cultural scene and urban society of Berlin.
During Berlin Art Week, on the weekend of 13 and 14 September, the art studios at the Uferhallen and the entire grounds will open their doors to visitors.
